Yesterday, as I was soaking in my "magic bath" (more on that in a minute), I started thinking about you. Specifically, I thought about how much I enjoy sharing the small, daily things I do to create the life I desire and keep my energy in alignment. It’s something I’ve been practicing for years, and I realized these tools might be useful for you, too.
Let’s start with: Three ways to turn an ordinary bath into a "magic bath."
Why Water Is So Powerful for Intuition and Manifestation
First, let’s talk about why a bath can be so much more than just a way to relax. Water has unique properties that make it a natural amplifier of energy and intuition.
Water is associated with emotion, intuition, and insight in many traditions. It’s often called a "conductor" of energy, meaning it helps energy flow and magnify. When you’re submerged in water, you’re not just physically cleansing your body—you’re energetically clearing your mind and spirit.
Have you ever noticed how many great ideas or moments of clarity come to you in the shower or bath? That’s because water creates a state of openness. It soothes your nervous system, clears mental clutter, and puts you in a calm, receptive state. This openness allows you to connect more easily with your inner guidance, intuition, or even higher energies, like angels or guides.
Bathing also creates a ritual-like atmosphere. The act of immersing yourself in water symbolizes renewal and transformation, making it an ideal space for intention-setting and visualization.
Three Ways to Create a Magic Bath
Here’s how I take advantage of water’s natural magic to turn my baths into powerful, intentional experiences. First, I clean the tub because, well, I'm a Goddess, and I don't need to be soaking with the hairs of yesterday. 😉 But that’s just me. Once that is done, I incorporate all or some of the following:
1. Add Herbal Bath Products and Use Intention
One of the simplest ways to elevate your bath is to incorporate herbs or bath products with energetic properties.
For example, I love using lavender and hemp. Lavender has a soothing, calming vibration that helps relax both the mind and body. Hemp is grounding and releases tension, helping you feel centered. They each create a perfect environment for clarity and relaxation. I recommend products like Dr. Teal’s Hemp Bath or Dr. Teal's Lavender Bath Salts for an easy way to infuse these benefits into your bath.
In addition to herbs, I light a candle and set a clear intention for the bath. Intention-setting is a powerful practice where you focus your energy on what you want to create or receive.
Here are two examples of intentions I might use:
For insight and clarity: “Please be with me, guides, angels, helpers, and healers. My intention for this bath is to gain insight into [specific topic]. Help me see what I need to see, understand what I need to understand, and gain the clarity I need.”
For guidance and support in achieving a goal: “Please bring into my life the right people, opportunities, and resources to help me achieve this goal. Guide me to take the actions I need to make it happen.”
These phrases can be adapted to suit whatever you’re working on. The key is to speak from the heart and be specific about your intention.
While I’m soaking, I love to listen to what I call Harmonic Whispers. These are audio tracks I created that combine layered affirmations with soothing melodies. Multiple voices repeat affirmations at the same time, which makes it difficult for your conscious mind to latch onto any one voice, causing it to sort of step aside. This allows the positive messages to flow directly into your subconscious mind, where they can begin to take root.
For baths, my go-to track is “You Shine.” It’s designed to clear away old, negative messages from childhood and replace them with uplifting, empowering beliefs. This track is especially powerful during a bath, where the water’s natural energy amplifies the work you’re doing on your subconscious.
I encourage you to try it out during your next bath and see how it feels. You might be surprised by how much lighter and more aligned you feel afterward.
3. Visualize the Outcomes You Desire
Your subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between something vividly imagined and something real. That’s why visualization is such a powerful tool for manifestation.
During your bath, take a few moments to close your eyes and vividly imagine the outcome you desire. But don’t just picture it—place yourself inside the vision, experiencing it as though it’s already happening.
For example:
If I’m manifesting my dream home, I’ll imagine soaking in the bathtub of that home. I picture every detail of the bathroom—the tiles, the window view, the scent in the air.
If I’m working toward a vacation, I’ll imagine myself in the bathtub of the hotel or Airbnb I’ve chosen. I let myself feel the joy and relaxation of being there.
The trick is to engage all your senses. Imagine what you’d see, hear, smell, and feel if you were really there. This first-person visualization impresses your subconscious with the reality of your desire, moving you into alignment with the actions and opportunities needed to manifest it.
Your Turn: Create Your Own Magic Bath
With just these three steps, you can transform a plain old bath into a powerful practice for relaxation, intuition, and manifestation:
Add herbal bath products like lavender or hemp and set a clear intention.
Use a Harmonic Whisper track to work on your subconscious mind.
Visualize your desired outcomes as though they’re already happening.
I hope these tips inspire you to experiment with your own magic bath. Bonus points for doing all three in the same bath! Water is a powerful ally in your journey to create the life you desire, and when you pair its natural properties with focused intention, the results can be incredible.
